Dr. Anna Prebble

Dr Anna Prebble is a specialist Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. She grew up in Hobart and completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2012. She commenced paediatric training in Tasmania, before moving interstate to undertake advanced training in paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Monash Children’s Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital, including a fellowship in clinical nutrition at RCH. Anna has held a paediatric teaching appointment at Monash University, and has given lectures in paediatric gastroenterology and been an examiner in paediatrics for the University of Queensland.

Anna was awarded fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2022, and is certified with the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) for paediatric gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Anna specialises in gastrointestinal and liver issues in children of all ages - from birth to late adolescence (<18yo). She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac, eosinophilic oesophagitis and clinical nutrition, but is experienced with a wide variety of paediatric gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.
